ok, so I am inserting the links that I was sent by my realtor for possible properties, in case anyone is curious about how it works to make an investment in only a piece of a building. So weird.

I was looking at the condos and noticed a lot of them say they were built within the last 10 years. I seriously doublt that, unless they tore down one run down building and then built another just like it so that it wouldn't stand out in the neighborhood. I think I recognize some of the buildings and I was there in the mid-70s. I wonder if that's when the building went "condo" or they renevated the space. If it is true that they were built when they say, the air in New York must be really bad if it can make a brick building lood like it was put up in the 50s instead of the 90s. - Mom

The Condos have some interesting photos. One has "The Garden at Forest Hills" sign as their photo. Another has the corner of a kitchen, I think. Not that the outside of the building shows you much either. One did the best job. They posted a floor plan. This gives more information than any of the others.
Hey, I saw "Eff" for an efficiency kitchen. Then I say "Eik." They also have "combo" kitchens. I can't figure out what they are combo-ing with. What do these mean?
I found out what Eik means -it's "Eat in Kitchen." From looking at some of the floor plans, I thought it meant "no way are you going to get a table in here" but that didn't work with the letters.
These are so interesting - there is one with a washer and dryer in the kitchen, under the cabinets just like a dishwasher. It has a picture. You see the little circle window of the washer. I need to go back to the condos and see if they have these kind of photos. - Mom
